July turned out to be a rewarding month in its own way.
The relentless heat kept me indoors more than I would have liked, limiting the chance to capture new shots and stories. Yet, despite that, I feel proud:
one of my photos was exhibited in a gallery along Milan’s Navigli, and
I also won the BPA UK photography contest.
It’s moments like these that make me realize I might actually be finding my way as a photographer—just a little, haha.
Interestingly, both of these achievements came from black and white shots, even though I usually lean toward color. Maybe it’s time I embraced that style a bit more often.

For the exhibition, I chose an unpublished photo from the Fukagawa Matsuri (read here). It captures a child getting splashed with a bucket of water, while his friend next to him laughs—fully aware that his turn will come soon after.

Here you can find the exhibition catalogue with all the photos and photographers who participated.
Honored and grateful to have won Platinum Award & Photo of the Season of BPAUK’s photo contest with my photo Urban Silence!

The day I went to Eitai Bridge I had my Fuji too and took some long exposures, trying to get some nice light trails of the boats passing. The mood of this photo is, for me at least, timeless.

This means a lot to me.
Huge thanks to the judges, organizers, and everyone who supports my photography journey.
